News from LACH DIAMANT at the LIGNA in Hannover

May 14 to 18, 2007 – Hall 26 Stand B81

LACH DIAMANT now in its 85th year was founded by Jakob Lach in 1922. It is still a family enterprise in its third generation with son Horst Lach and grandson Dipl.-Ing. Robert Lach in the management of the company. We are presenting our line of progressive tools and machines at the LIGNA 2007 for tool grinding and tool manufacturing from HSS – carbide – Stellite all the way for the service/manufacturing of diamond tools and diamond saws.

In other words, from the high performance diamond and CBN grinding wheels and diamond tools to the program of spark erosion CNC sharpening machines for all diamond tools.

For example a new product, the »Dia-5085-CNC Edition 2007« on the basis of Microsoft Windows®, is designed for the service and new manufacturing of diamond saws up to 800 mm diameter.

For the first time the operator has the possibility to precisely sharpen a diamond saw automatically in one clamping, tooth for tooth without time consuming re-clamping.

The sharpening process starts with the selection of the called-up program variables, for example: side – back – chamfer, whereby all tooth shapes and tooth divisions can be recalled.

The possibilities of the »Dia-5085-CNC« are not only limited to diamond saws up to 800 mm diameter, but its superiority in comparison to other diamond sharpening systems shows up also with the processing of diamond hogging tools, scoring and grooving tools and high precision diamond saws. These saws for example are required in the plastics and circuit board industry.

The »Dia-2100-mini« will also be shown at the LIGNA and is the ideal diamond sharpening machine for the diamond sharpening service industry. It is all around universal for all diamond tools in the wood and plastic industry. It is easy and simple to operate, quick and precise, has great sharpening quality and is offered at a good price/performance ratio.

The »Dia-2100-mini« can be integrated into an already existing machine park and can help to cope with the daily volume of sharpening work in a quicker and more cost effective way. Here, too, the »Dia-2100-mini« shows its superiority in comparison to other erosion machines.

The line of LACH DIAMANT sharpening machines is complemented by the »Dia-ToolNet-Station«. With this station the operator can access, from a single work place/measuring station, all LACH DIAMANT sharpening machines and engage the respective measuring data for the diamond tool or the saw.

In short, the LACH DIAMANT family is looking forward to your visit and invites you to celebrate …

See you in Hannover.
