LACH DIAMANT presents
Diamond Sharpening Service compact –
The new »Dia-2200-mini« Spark Erosion Grinding Machine

LACH DIAMANT – the inventor and pioneer in the development of the spark erosion grinding process for the sharpening of diamond PCD tools – since 1978 – presents at the LIGNA 2011 for the first time worldwide the »Dia-2200-mini«.

This machine was engineered to satisfy our own high demands for manufacturing LACH DIAMANT tools and it is now available worldwide for sale to all sharpening and grinding service shops.

Compact design, easy to operate and to program, which makes the new „mini” the perfect quick service machine for all wood and plastics diamond PCD cutting tools.

A highlight for each service technician is the possibility of multiple manufacturing. Diamond saws up to ø 480 mm, scoring tools, hogging heads and jointing cutters can be sharpened fully automatically in one clamping ready for final measurement on the machine.

It goes without saying that all techniques cannot only be applied for the service work but are also suitable for manufacturing of new diamond tools.

In comparison to copycat models the »Dia-2200-mini« has a distinct feature: The electronic and spark generator are designed in such a way that one cannot only work with copper electrodes but also with the lower priced electro-graphite electrodes.

With the drastic worldwide price increases at the copper commodity market the electro-graphite electrode represents a reassuring alternative.
