„Turning-Days”, is the official trade show for turning technology – whatever is turning …
in the former „heartland of watches” Villingen-Schwenningen.

The precision diamond tools from LACH DIAMANT, the diamond tool manufacturer from Hanau, always have felt at home here.

May it be for the diamond turning of brass, aluminium, plastic or even solid gold; for the dressing of grinding wheels or the fine polishing with diamond pastes and even for the manufacturing of fine diamond coated grinding wheels and files for finishing of difficult, delicate work.

At „ Turning-Days” this traditional diamond tool program is expanded by LACH DIAMANT innovations, such as PCD and CBN cutting tools for the automobile, airplane and wind power industries, as well as for the mould building industry, diamond and CBN grinding wheels for tool makers and manufacturers of carbide and stellite tools, saw mills and tool grinding shops among others.

Highlight at “Turning-Days” will be the presentation of »Cool Injection« – a direct cooling patented system.

»Cool Injection« was originally developed together with the automobile manufacturer AUDI for their aluminium engine manufacturing.

The integrated coolant channel in a PCD/ CBN cutter or in a turning tool is elongated in such a way that the opening of the coolant stream is located directly on the surface of the cutting edge.

The coolant stream, liquid or gas is led directly to the cutting edge and thus conducted directly to the just created „hot” chip.

»Cool Injection« is the ideal chip breaker, it protects the work piece from disturbing chips and at the same time extends the service life of the PCD/CBN cutting edge to its maximum.
