LACH DIAMANT expands production in Saxony
Inauguration and 90 year festivity

On July 13, 2012 the day for the festive opening of the third construction phase had arrived.

On this occasion the business managers Horst and Robert Lach symbolically presented the key to Mr. Bernd Straube, the manager of the Saxony plant (photo).

With completion of the third construction phase the existing manufacturing space was doubled and now at 4000 qm has been almost quadrupled since the start of the building in 1997.

According to the company management 3.0 Million Euro have been invested in the building extension and further CNC-controlled machines.

Currently the established staff of 50 employees in Lichtenau near Chemnitz is being increased by another 15 skilled workers.

After the opening the invited guests from politics and business participated in a plant tour and thus got an insight about the development of diamond cutting tools made in Saxony.

Following the ceremonial act all employees and their families were invited for the 90 year jubilee of LACH DIAMANT (photo).

It was a great day for LACH DIAMANT Saxony.
