LACH DIAMANT provides a full assortment of powerful diamond tools, for example panel saws, scoring saws and cutting saws for PCB-, aluminium-, and ceramics-based manufacturing.

A variety of different base materials are necessary in today’s PCB productions. In the past, CEM1 materials were most common. oday, GRP prepregs, aluminium and copper foils, polyamide-soaked fibreboards, non-halogen materials, aluminium plates as well as wood fibreboards are used. All of these materials have to be cut efficiently during prefabrication – often via stack cutting. LACH DIAMANT’s dreboflash® saw has proven itself as the ideal solution: PCD as synthetic polycrystalline cutting material guarantees precise and clean cuts as well as a long tool life.

LACH DIAMANT also developed a specialized tool for scoring PCB rolls on scoring machines, the unrivalled diamond scoring saw »DreboBlueCut« – world champion for scoring IMS PC boards.

After placement, PCB panels can be cut with LACH DIAMANT’s diamond-plated solid carbide saws – down to the smallest width of 0.3 mm. A higher feed (and the corresponding higher throughput) is a special advantage. LACH DIAMANT’s solid carbide saws make a highly automated production with inline-panel cutting conceivable.

Moreover, LACH DIAMANT will show the full product range of diamond tools for the efficient machining/cutting of GRP and carbon fibres as well as aluminium. These lightweight materials benefit and continue to change aviation, wind energy, automotive and sporting goods industries.
