We are presenting newly developed diamond tools for mold and die production
New technologies, in the last decade, found their way into the mold and die production industry. Time-consuming manual labor, such as the polishing of molds, has been superseded in many cases by time-saving technologies such as CNC erosion technique or high performance copy-milling (HSC).
For HSC processing LACH DIAMANT will show a line of specially developed copy-milling cutters with polycrystalline diamond for aluminium, graphite, GRP / GFRP molds and with CBN for hardened steel molds.
The test results at hand show a time saving of up to 50 % in comparison to previous working methods.
The trade show program is supplemented by proven diamond and CBN tooling systems for grinding, deburring and polishing as well as the patented (European Patent 1023961 B1) PCD chip breaker insert for the machining of aluminium.
