LACH DIAMANT’s green innovation:
Stylish design bags made of old exhibition stands

Just in time for EMO 2017 in Hannover the Hanau company LACH DIAMANT has not only developed new PCD and CBN tools e.g. the PCD chip breaker »IC-plus world’s best« or the high-precision profile grinding wheels »contour profiled«, no, it also presents its “green” innovation.

LACH DIAMANT has had modified the background picture of the past exhibition stands (see photo) into stylish design bags.

Meter-long, now useless fabric panels were modified into several sling bags – each an unique piece – distinctive and sustainably produced. They have been professionally sewn by sewers of the sheltered workshop Main-Kinzig e.V. (BMWK).

LACH DIAMANT’s CEO Horst Lach enthusiastically shows one of the bags: “Recycling has long been a top priority in our company – it’s great that such a stylish result comes out of this”. And concerning LACH DIAMANT’s slogan “Future for today” Horst Lach says: For us “Future for today” does not only apply for our innovations in the tool and grinding wheel sector – also in areas such as sustainability and corporate social responsibility we are future-oriented.”

From September 18 to 23 LACH DIAMANT will present its future-oriented new developments at EMO in Hannover – hall 4 stand D 41. “Have a close look: next year you might hold a bag from the current background picture in your hands” says Sabrina Kriks, trainee at LACH DIAMANT.
